Irene Montala is a Spanish actress known for her roles in the movies R.I.S. Científica, The Anarchist's Wife, Mar de fons, Alpha and a few internationally popular TV shows El Barco, El internado, and Hermanos.
She was born and raised in Barcelona. She is fluent in several languages, including English, French, official Spanish and Catalan Spanish. Her hobbies, aside from acting, include traveling, photography and modelling.
The role that marked the beginning of her career was in the TV drama series 'Poble Nou' broadcasted in 1994. Up until today, Irene has a long list of successful portrayals in Spanish movies and television productions. However, the series 'El internado' and 'El Barco' put Irene in the A-list of most wanted actresses in Spain. Along with her film and TV engagements, the blonde is highly grateful to play powerful and influential heroines in the theater. I was delighted to see her even in a minor role in the 2014 Spanish remake 'Perdona si te llamo amor' based on Federico Moccia's bestselling book of the same name.
