Born on 28 March 1986 in Madrid, Amaia Salamanca is one of the most popular faces on Spanish television, along with Megan Montaner and Blanca Suarez.
She is best known for her roles in hit TV dramas SMS, sin miedo a sonar, Gran Hotel and Sin tetas no hay paraíso. Apart from her acting career, Amaia does modeling, and occasionally can be spotted famous singers' videos and TV talk shows. In 2006 she landed on the 5th place in Maxim's "Top 100 Hot List" counting down the most attractive celebrities. She was right between the top Hollywood actresses Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson. Amaia is currently in a relationship with Rosauro Varo, and in April 2014 the two welcomed a daughter named Olivia.
