Only true fans would remember that back in 2002, it was the role in hit sci-fi drama Firefly that paved Morena's way to success.
However, it took the actress almost a decade to add shine in a new standout role. In 2011, the gorgeous Morena teamed up with her college mate Claire Danes to portray two dramatic heroines in the controversial series Homeland. After several seasons Morena left the show to take part in a the new dark TV drama Gotham set in the Batman universe of DC comics. The role of Dr. Lee Thompkins brought her together on the set with an old friend and the show's protagonist Detective Jim Gordon portrayed by The O.C. star Ben McKenzie.
